ORNAP-Davao held its 10th Convention

“Perioperative Nurses: Influencing the Future of Safe Patient Care”, is the theme for The Operating Room Nurses Association of the Philippines – Davao Chapter’s 10th Annual Regional Convention and Scientific Meeting held last November 28, 2009 at the Waterfront Insular Hotel, Lanang, Davao City. The theme focuses on patient’s safety especially on perioperative nursing care. Promoting harmony among surgeons, anesthesiologist and perioperative nurses to create an environment of safety for patients and rendering the best achievable perioperative nursing care.Read more

ORNAP Davao Chapter

The Operating Room Nurses Association of the Philippines (ORNAP) Davao Chapter conducted their Regional Convention & Scientific Meeting last November 24, 2007 at the Waterfront Insular Hotel with the title Perioperative Nursing: Weaving Together to the Fabric of Care.

The event was well attended by participants from the region and different areas in Mindanao. Topics chosen were relevant to the current issues and concerns in the Nursing Profession and in the Medical Field as well.

A Eucharistic mass by Rev. Father Albert Alejo, SJ commenced the day’s activity. The Keynote Speaker, a General Surgeon, Dr. Warlito C. Vicente, MD, FPCS, shared inspirational annotations noteworthy to the partnership of nurses and doctors in the perioperative arena.Read more
