Operation Smile Int’l Mission 2008

ORNAP’s partnership with the Operation Smile International (OSI) has established a venue for social responsibility and commitment. Representatives from ORNAP participated in the OSI Missions being conducted in various parts of the country.

Mr. Dickson Miciano and Ms. Kaye Avellano were in attendance for the mission held in Davao Medical Center in Davao City in November 2007. With its leaders on the helm, Dr. Jojo Sembrano and Norie de Guzman, the team fruitfully catered to young and old patients from various places in Mindanao.

Kaye attended another mission in Teresa Jalandoni Memorial Hospital, Silay City, Negros Occidental held in February 2008 to provide free surgery to the Negrenses. Dr. Bob Valenzuela and Dusty Klegg, RN showed their expertise in handling people by coming up with a work well done.

Both activities have recognized the thrust of Solidarity by being involved in this worthwhile endeavour of providing selfless service to the less fortunate Filipino.
