THEME: Professional Nursing Issues Threats or Opportunities

Nice venue.  Good turn-out of participants and an excellent line-up of speakers.  But the issue is where the ANSAP annual convention objectives met?

I believe that annual convention was a complete success, it has brought awareness on current issues on professional nursing influencing the delivery of quality nursing care; promoted creative thinking, the appreciation of threats and opportunities affecting the nursing practice and strategize methods and innovation based on the issues and concerns to cope up with the demands of the health care system.

It has elicited different reaction given by the participants and the board members on the open forum; some seeking queries, some sharing ideas and others displaying a violent reaction on the issues at hand, but these only shows that the issues are tackled and understood.

In the end it is up to the new members of the ANSAP to pursue and continue the fight on professional nursing issues influencing the delivery of quality nursing care and to cope up with the demands of the health care system.  Stand up and be part of the solution!  A challenge to all you nurses.
